Black Girls in the Lead
Black Girls in the Lead is is an innovative pilot program that aims to equip young black girls with the necessary tools and resources to make a significant impact on the world.
Through education, mentorship, and support, we strive to break generational barriers and pave the way for success in every aspect of their lives. Our goal is to inspire, engage, and unleash the brilliance of girls of color, empowering them to effect change in their communities, businesses, politics, and the world at large.

Black Girls in the Lead initiative is dedicated to inspiring, equipping, engaging, and supporting black girls to become the next generation of leading politicians, activists, social entrepreneurs, and change agents: Leaders who can transform institutions and policies that legitimize and perpetuate discrimination against women.
Our Vision
We envision a future where black girls are self-aware, educated and have access to opportunities to pursue their dreams with confidence.
Strategy
The BGILD initiative achieves its goals by partnering with local organizations and champions to expand our reach and make a profound impact in the lives of black girls and create a world where they have equal opportunities to succeed.
